WallpaperBuddy™ Launching at the National Hardware Show

We will be launching our pioneering wallpaper hanging tool, WallpaperBuddy™ at the 75th National Hardware Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA on 21-23 October 2021 in Booth W2215C of the Inventor’s Spotlight section.

WallpaperBuddy™’s patent-pending design allows one person the ability to hang wallpaper alone, by holding wallpaper away from the wall at the optimum angle. The user therefore has two hands free to match the patterns, feel for bubbles and creases and smooth the paper down to the wall quickly and easily.

Its body is telescopic, making it easy to work up and down the wall. WallpaperBuddy™ helps with tricky areas like sockets and windows, is designed for most widths of wallpaper and walls up to 11ft.

David Swift, WallpaperBuddy™ Inventor and Chairman, who will be exhibiting the product at the trade show, states, “WallpaperBuddy™ has been designed to help novice DIY consumers to hang wallpaper, which we have identified as a huge gap in the market.

Our research shows that 52% of millennials don’t know how to hang wallpaper and that 80% of people who have not hung wallpaper before said the existence of a wallpapering aid aimed at DIY novices would inspire them to try hanging wallpaper.”

WallpaperBuddy™ is market ready and the company is seeking to hold discussions with representatives from major home improvement stores, distributors, Mom and Pop store, and wallpaper manufacturers.
